About Us

I have been a physical therapist for more than 25 years. I have extensive experience in a variety of settings and enjoy communicating with patients regarding options for treatment and progression of treatment. Everyone has their own unique combination of strengths and challenges, and I use skilled decision making to customize treatment. I utilize a variety of activities, including manual therapies and targeted exercises, to help regain comfort, strength and mobility for return of function. Discussion and education are highly important parts of treatment, so that you feel you understand the reasoning for treatment interventions and suggestions.

Sessions are 1:1 so we can progress as much as possible at each session.

I see a diverse population, including people that want to move and feel better for multiple reasons which are sometimes cumulative aches and pains from life over the years.

Neurological conditions
Chronic pain, including reduced/low ability to function:
This often includes determining appropriate levels of activity including minimizing overdoing and compensatory recovery time which adds to pain cycles.

Unsteadiness/falls
Orthopedic issues for all parts of body:
This includes before and after joint replacement surgery- Most people have a high level of pain prior to having joint replacement surgery. Pain is inhibitory and it is helpful to do some comfortable effective treatment prior to surgery to help your body have the ability to activate crucial muscles in order to make recovery after surgery progress more comfortably and quickly.

I am conveniently located close to major highways of highway 500, I5 and Highway 14, just north of downtown Vancouver WA. The building has plentiful parking in a lot.

In addition to seeing people in my office, I see people at select senior living communities. Call for information about that please.
